Their show went off without a hitch in New York City last night (November 13), but the perfection comes with hours of prepping and practice and the Angels let GossipCenter in on their pre-show rituals.
While they got all gussied up behind-the-scenes, Lindsay Ellingson, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes and Lily Aldridge took a beat to chat with GCN about how they get ready for the special night.
Excited for her seventh strut down the catwalk, Lindsay explained that the adrenaline gets her through, adding, “It feels like a holiday.”
Alessandra said that she prepared for the VS Show for about one month with “a lot of working out,” great skincare and a pre-show spray tan.
Adriana takes a holistic approach to the day and explained, “You’re going to laugh. I like to meditate.”
As for Lily, she just takes it easy. “I just try to relax the morning of the show. Enjoy myself have a little time because as soon as you get here the adrenaline’s on and everything’s crazy.”
Finally, Doutzen gets as much as she can out of the dress rehearsal and tries to “go to bed early.”
